Hailing from the vibrant city of Dallas, TX, Matt Boggs has woven his life and family around the chords and melodies that define him.

His musical journey began to take shape in 2011, when he founded Prophets and Outlaws, a band that quickly became more than just a group of musicians; “We became a family, traveling the country in a van united by our shared passion for creating music that resonates,” says Boggs. “Together, we’ve navigated the highs and lows of the music industry, learning, evolving, and hopefully leaving our mark on the hearts of those who have find solace in our songs.”

In 2024, Matt embarked on a new chapter of his musical journey — releasing his first solo project. This venture is not a departure from his work with Prophets and Outlaws, but a continuation of his personal exploration into his musical expression. Boggs continues: Crafting these songs has allowed me to dive deeper into my musical roots, creating sounds and stories that are uniquely mine and in some ways very personal. Each song is a reflection of my journey and an ode to the artists and songwriters that have shaped me, both as an artist and as an individual.
